Rotary/Shelterbox responds rapidly to Pakistani Flood Disaster

Families whose homes were destroyed in the floods have now found emergency shelter beneath the canvas of ShelterBox tents after 1,000 ShelterBox tents were distributed in Kyber Pukhtunkwa (KPK) and Punjab regions of Pakistan in the past two days.

ShelterBox aid sent to cyclone-hit Fiji Up to 200 people hit by Cyclone Tomas in Fiji have been given emergency shelter by disaster relief charity ShelterBox. The category four storm battered the Vanua Levu and Lau Group islands last month, destroying homes and crops and prompting authorities to declare a state of emergency. Finding a sense of community in Haiti ShelterBox International Training Academy Manager and ShelterBox Response Team (SRT) member, Ben Spurway, has recently returned from Port au Prince, Haiti where he helped deliver emergency aid to people affected by January's devastating earthquake.
