Young Scientists of the Year for Primary Schools

Some of you will have heard the enthusiasm of Judith Green of the Ogden Trust speaking at the District Conference concerning the successful partnership with the Rotary Club of Market Harborough and Primary Schools. Participating schools selected teams of four students; two from year 4 and two from year 5 to undertake science challenges supervised by an adult (teacher or Rotarian). We are exploring the possibility of other Clubs participating with a commitment (which could be with Clubs working together) of seed funding to purchase equipment and annual funding to provide trophies etc; and Rotarians to help run the competition and present trophies and certificates. Please e-mail YouthService@Rotary1070.org if you would like further details. 8th Nov 2017
