As you can imagine our decision has not been made lightly and we waited as long as possible before having to do this

We are assured by the Celtic Manor group that hotel rooms already booked through them will roll over to the new dates. You do not have to do anything if you are booked into the Celtic Manor itself, Holiday Inn Newport, Coldra Court or Ty Magor hotels.

Rotarians who have already registered for the Conference will be automatically registered for the new date.
Those Rotarians, who wish to cancel will be refunded their registration fee in full. Please let us know what you intend to do as soon as possible by contacting any of the following:

  • Jackie Brame Conference Accounting Officer
  • Elaine Vandelli Conference Registration Officer
  • Bob McKinlay Conference Manager

N.B. As a result of postponing the 2020 conference to March 2021…., the  2021/22 District Conference will be held in March 2022.

Did you book a hotel for the District Conference in September? If so, please read on:

We had hoped that the conference venue (ICC) would be able to help with such bookings, but we have been told that if you booked directly with a hotel yourself then any changes to the booking have to be made personally for contractual reasons.
Everyone who booked a hotel room via the District Website link should have had a message from the ICC confirming the new March dates. If you have not been contacted please let me know.

What does District Conference have for you ?

● Be inspired ? – our district always has fantastic speakers at conference, ones that will inspire Rotarians to continue what we do in Rotary in order to improve the lives of others.

● Be motivated ? – meeting and talking to Rotarians from around the district is always amazing, just hearing how much we do should easily motivate you to do more.

● Be enthused ? – there’s one quality that all Rotarians need, enthusiasm, and believe us when you attend a conference you should certainly leave enthused to support Rotary, your club and your community.

● HAVE FUN ?? – there’s no point in doing something if it’s not fun, and conferences are always, most definitely, fun!   Not only do you get to spend more time with your fellow club members, you get to enjoy a beautiful part of the world and take in new experiences.
